Connect ChatGPT to Desklet

Any plan, including Free, through a desk’s AI link. Paid plans can add Desklet as an app.

With a desk’s AI link

Works on every ChatGPT plan, including Free. ChatGPT can read the desk but not add to it. There is no sign-in: revoke the link from the same AI link menu.

  1. In Desklet, open the desk’s ⋯ menu and choose AI link. On a phone, it is in the desk switcher menu.

  2. Pick how long it works (1, 7, 30 or 90 days), click Create link, then Copy.

  3. Paste the link into ChatGPT and ask about the desk. Desklet shows the link only once.

As an app in developer mode

For Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education, on the web. ChatGPT can read and add, and asks you to confirm each addition.

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.

  2. Open Plugins (formerly Connectors), click +, name the app Desklet, paste the address and choose OAuth.

  3. Sign in to Desklet.

When you sign in

Desklet asks which desks ChatGPT may see, and whether it may only read (Read) or also put results on them (Read & add). ChatGPT then shows up in Settings → Agents.

Try asking

  • “Here is my Trips desk. What is still missing for the trip?”
  • “Check Desklet for my notes from today.”

If it doesn’t work

On Business, Enterprise and Education, a workspace admin may have to allow developer mode first. ChatGPT moves these settings often: see its developer mode guide.

What a connected agent can do

  • It never deletes anything, whichever way it connects.
  • It sees only the desks you choose.
  • You pick the mode: Read, where it only looks, or Read & add, where it also puts results on the desk.
  • You can disconnect it any time in Settings → Agents, or revoke an AI link from the desk’s ⋯ menu.
