Connect your AI agent to Desklet
Your agent takes what you put on the desk and puts the result back under its name. Every agent connects to the same MCP URL and signs in to Desklet.
https://desklet.io/mcp- ClaudeClaude on the web, desktop and phone. One link adds Desklet.
- ChatGPTAny plan, including Free, through a desk’s AI link. Paid plans can add Desklet as an app.
- Claude CodeOne command, or the Desklet CLI and skill.
- CodexTwo commands, or the Desklet CLI and skill.
- OpenClawA few commands, plus the Desklet skill.
Other agents
Cursor, Hermes or your own: any agent that connects to MCP servers with sign-in. Add the MCP URL above as a remote server, then sign in to Desklet.
An agent that runs shell commands can use the Desklet CLI instead. Install it, sign in once, then add the Desklet skill:
brew install --cask desklet-io/tap/deskletcurl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/desklet-io/desklet/master/install.sh | shdesklet loginnpx skills add desklet-io/deskletChatbots without tools
A chatbot that can’t connect to tools reads a desk through its AI link. Create one from the desk’s ⋯ menu, paste it into the chat and ask about the desk. It works in ChatGPT on every plan, including Free: see the steps.
What a connected agent can do
- It never deletes anything, whichever way it connects.
- It sees only the desks you choose.
- You pick the mode: Read, where it only looks, or Read & add, where it also puts results on the desk.
- You can disconnect it any time in Settings → Agents, or revoke an AI link from the desk’s ⋯ menu.
